The Kendal DVC or Dark Virginia Cavendish is produced by cooking Virginia leaf with steam to removes a lot of the stronger elements in the leaf and bringing out the natural sugars for a cooler burning smoother Virginia. It is fairly easy burning so is an ideal companion to a slow burning tobacco where the flavour doesn't need over diluting or much adjustment but a faster burn rate is required.
