Tom Spanu Italian: Well to say we were excited when we first came across these stands was an understatement. Tom Spanu have devised an innovative method of coating some of their premium Briar pipes with natural cork which simply looks outstanding. Rustic whilst still oozing quality. These new pipe stands use a section of a cork branch cut lengthwise to leave the rustic bark on the top. A simple yet effective brass stand has been plugged into the base to form an unobtrusive holder for your pipe without detracting from the beauty of your prized piece. Due to the soft nature of the cork the stand can be removed if you wish to make cleaning easier. As with all the Tom Spanu Briar pipes their work is proudly stamped "Tom Spanu" as a sign of genuine Italian quality. The base of the Briar has been lined with processed cork sheeting to protect your mantlepiece or table top.
