S.T.Dupont Defi Extreme Lighters: The Defi Extreme is a luxury lighter that is both stylish and functional. The lighters powerful and stable blue torch flame resists the most violent winds. This lighter is extreme by name and extreme by nature. It is effective from the coldest temperatures (-10°C) to the hottest (+45°C) and works at a maximum height of 3500m so you can still light your cigs whilst you are hiking through the Alps or crossing the Mojave desert. Please Note Due to postal regulations introduced in 2013 we are no longer allowed to send lighters that contain gas. Your lighter will be supplied with out any gas and will therefore need filling on receipt. Dupont recommends using their own ultra refined Butane gas which we are also not allowed to send in the post. You will find retailers selling it on ebay or if you have a specialist tobacconist in your area we would recommend stocking up from a local shop. The Ligne 2 requires the Gold refill. Failing this we would recommend getting the best gas that your tobacconist stocks, such as Xikar or Colibri as these contain near zero impurities and have adaptors that should fit these lighters.
