Savinelli Autograph 36 Freehand Briar Pipe Another stunning freehand from the house of Savinelli, as you would expect from a pipe with AA grading the grain is outstanding and really brought to life with the exquisite sandblasting. The shape of this freehand has become a bit of a signature of Savinelli and has become iconic in the world of freehands with very few coming out of the factory but when they do they get snapped up very quickly. The grain flows beautifully and flairs like a fan in perfect symmetry with the shape of the bowl. The front of the bowl is carved and polished smooth which gives a nice contrast against the sandblasting and rustic Plateaux which has been preserved on the top of the pipe. The pipe is finished with a long hand cut Acrylic stem making this the perfect reading pipe to be enjoyed in front of an open fire accompanied with a good novel and a fine malt. A wonderful collectors piece that will be the pride of any collection.
