Peterson Walnut 701 Spigot Peterson Spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipes with spent cartridges. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. The Briar on this pipe has been specially chosen for it's exceptional grain pattern which runs vertically from the heel up the bowl which is then highlighted with the warm walnut finish. The Spigot 701, first introduced as one of 4 speciality shapes back in 1945, is a variation on the classic Poker design featuring a tall, cylindrical bowl with a high set transition and a sleeker shank for an elegant timeless design. A great all rounder with stunning aesthetics. As with all the spigots there is a hall marked sterling silver military mount. This is a tapered fitting meaning the fit will never wear loose and I guess we can say it again, it just looks fantastic!
Fishtail mouthpiece: The standard mouthpiece for most pipe manufacturers. The fishtail has the exit hole in the end of the mouthpiece. The end of the mouthpiece is flat, which some people find easier to grip, and suits the smoker who doesn’t get on with the p.lip style.
ONE OFF PIPE: This is a one off pipe and the pipe in the picture is the exact pipe you will receive. Please not that colour varies depending on your computer monitor and may not replicate the colour exactly.
