Peterson Spigot Silver Cap Peterson Spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipes with spent cartridges. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. The Peterson Silver Cap is a union of top grade mellowed briar and hallmarked silver that makes this series much sought after. Using the highest grade bowls, the handcrafted silver work fits the caps to each pipe individually. From the outset this process requires a lot of skill, experience and time in equal measure. The silver compliments the classic billiard shape beautifully, accentuating the tight flame grain perfectly.
Peterson Flame Grain 68 The Peterson 68 is a full bent, tapered billiard briar with a relatively large bowl. The extra size comes from a wider bowl but the bore isn’t overly large and this doesn’t add to the weight much. It has a deep bowl so will suit a short or lengthy intense smoke. The Briar has been specially chosen for its exceptional grain pattern which runs vertically from the heel up the bowl which is then highlighted with the light stain and finished with a Sterling Silver Band and Cap to bring it all together.
Fishtail mouthpiece: The standard mouthpiece for most pipe manufacturers. The fishtail has the exit hole in the end of the mouthpiece. The end of the mouthpiece is flat, which some people find easier to grip, and suits the smoker who doesn’t get on with the p.lip style.
ONE OFF PIPE: This is a one off pipe and the pipe in the picture is the exact pipe you will receive. Please not that colour varies depending on your computer monitor and may not replicate the colour exactly.
