Peterson Speciality Tankard Rustic Pipe: The Tankard is a straight Poker with reserved proportions and is probably one of the most striking shapes in the speciality line up. Here at the Black Swan Specialist Tobacconist we are big fans of the Poker and it is very rare we'll pass up the opportunity to add another to our collection. Petersons Rusticated lightweight is a must have for any collection. A nice deep bowl gives a generous fill for the size of the pipe yet still smokes smaller fills very well. It feels less dainty than the other pipes speciality series and has a flat bottom which enables the pipe to stand unaided while resting which is great for keeping the sideboard clear of ash and you in the good books with the other half. The bowl has been rusticated with a dark Red stain in the lower cravings enhanced by a lighter stain on the raised Carvings leading to Petersons trademark p.lip mouthpiece with a striking nickel band.
