Peterson Sherlock Holmes Series Smooth Quite simply the most popular pipe series that Peterson have ever produced. The Peterson Sherlock Holmes series was introduced in 1987 as a 7 day smokers set in honour of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous detective series and captured the hearts of Peterson fanatics worldwide. You will be very hard pressed to find a full 7 day set as the pipes are so hard to source due to their popularity. Peterson simply can’t get enough high grade briar blocks to produce enough of these pipes to satisfy the high demand. They are Extra Large high grade pipes named after famous elements in the Sherlock Holmes novel. Their Black Sandblast finish has been refined over generations and add a wonderful tactile finish as well as acting like a radiator cooling the smoke further.
