Peterson Rosslare Classic Rustic Series: The Peterson Rosslare is one of those iconic pipes that every smoker drools over in the catalogue, with a “one day i’ll treat myself” in the vain hope that their partner’s ear wigging and will buy it for them. If there was a Pipe that should go on the Irish flag it would surely be the Rosslare. Many pipemakers try and mimic it’s style but nobody gets it quite as good as Peterson. There are a few finishes in the Rosslare collection, the Classic is the given the Peterson sandblasting before staining jet-black and finished with a high gloss lacquer and a Sterling silver band. Truly stunning!
Peterson 999 Shape: The Peterson Rosslare 999 is a very distinctive classic Bulldog with a round shank and the classic double groove round the bowl. A design classic, which is also popular due to being comfortable in the hand. The double groove aids cooling in the same way as a car radiator, which helps keep the bowl cool and in turn the smoke cooler and smoother.
Fishtail mouthpiece: The standard mouthpiece for most pipe manufacturers. The fishtail has the exit hole in the end of the mouthpiece. The end of the mouthpiece is flat, which some people find easier to grip, and suits the smoker who doesn’t get on with the p.lip style.
