"How on earth do you have Peterson 2009 Pipe of the Year in stock" I hear you cry. We will forgive you for thinking we are bad at stock control or our sales staff are not doing their jobs properly. But in fact we heard rumours Peterson had discovered a batch of 2009 pipes of the year so we got on the phone and snapped them up!

Each Year Peterson's master craftsmen design and produce a select number of pipes in limited numbers. These products are particularly directed at the pipe connoisseur who can recognise the characteristics of a product which is unique in it's material, workmanship and styling. Each one is individually numbered and is limited to only 1000 pieces.

The Peterson pipe of the year 2009 is a high grade half bent, slightly tapered billiard with hand crafted silver mount and uniquely shaped shank. It has an extra large bowl as usually found on their special pipes with a generous bore for a good fill. A good thick wall helps keep the pipe cool and therefore more enjoyable smoke. The Silver Mount is hand crafted and fitted by Petersons silver smith, which is hallmarked and stamped with the Peterson logo. The new shaping on the shank of the pipe is designed for an ergonomic hold as the thumb or fore finger rests nicely in the recess.

Peterson System: A patented system, which naturally removes tar and moisture from the smoke without restricting the draw. Resulting in a very smooth and dry smoker. We have recommended Petersons to many wet smokers have have returned delighted with the difference.

Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Pipe of the year 2009 comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
