Peterson Newgrange Spigot: Peterson spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipe with a spent cartridge. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. Designed and named in honor of the iconic Irish prehistoric monument, the Newgrange Spigot reflects the central elements of this famous site. A signature Peterson spigot is expertly combined with a deep black sandblast briar and Cumberland mouthpiece. The pipe is elegantly finished with a smooth top that receives a dark Irish oak color.
Peterson Newgrange Spigot Cumberland XL11 Briar Pipe The Peterson Newgrange XL11 is a bent briar with a mid sized, Dublin shaped bowl. It has a thick wall, with a fairly deep bowl and large bore. The Dublin shape is one of the most recognisable classic bowl shapes and sits very nicely in the hand. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don’t get on with it. The Spigot series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don’t get on with the P.Lip.
