Peterson Newgrange Spigot: Peterson spigots are notoriously rare and usually take pride of place in any collection. The Spigot evolved on the front lines as soldiers repaired their pipe with a spent cartridge. Peterson evolved this into hallmarked sterling silver band and tapered fitting on the stem of a high grade pipe. Designed and named in honor of the iconic Irish prehistoric monument, the Newgrange Spigot reflects the central elements of this famous site. A signature Peterson spigot is expertly combined with a deep black sandblast briar and Cumberland mouthpiece. The pipe is elegantly finished with a smooth top that receives a dark Irish oak color.
Peterson Newgrange Spigot Cumberland 106 Briar Pipe The Peterson Newgrange 106 is a straight briar with a mid sized, apple shaped bowl. It has a thick wall, with a fairly deep bowl and average bore. The Apple shape is one of the most popular bowl shapes as the shape is more comfortable in the hand. The deep bowl makes for a versatile pipe as the fill can be varied for a short satisfying smoke or a long intense fireside session.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Petersons trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don’t get on with it. The Spigot series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don’t get on with the P.Lip.
ONE OFF PIPE: This is a one off pipe and the pipe in the picture is the exact pipe you will receive. Please not that colour varies depending on your computer monitor and may not replicate the colour exactly.
