Peterson Killarney Range Peterson are well know for taking inspiration from their Irish home. From places and landscapes, colours, weather and history. Killarney, meaning "church of sloes" has featured prominently in early Irish history, with religious settlements playing an important role in its history dating back to 640AD and this is where the Peterson Killarney takes its inspiration from. Each handcrafted pipe has a deep ruby finish which highlight the beautiful grain of the selected briar, complimented by a black acrylic mouthpiece and a two-tone black and nickel band.
Killarney 05 The Killarney 05 is a full bent briar with a fairly large, Dublin shaped bowl. The 05 fits the hand beautifully as the lipped top provides the perfect resting place for the index finger and thumb. (Rather like a Nonic Pint Glass) It has a fairly large bore and a good thick wall, which allows the smoker to get a good fill of tobacco, without the worry of overheating. If the above hasn’t satisfied your appetite we ought to also point out the 05 has a more exaggerated curve than normal, which helps the system do its job more effectively.
Fishtail mouthpiece: Peterson’s trademark patented mouthpiece is the p.lip design, which has many advantages but unfortunately some smokers just don't get on with it. The Liscannor series comes with the fishtail mouthpiece as an alternative for those who don't get on with the P.Lip.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a generic image that we have taken from a random selection of this pipe model from our stocks. It is unlikely to be the exact pipe you will receive. Due to the nature of the raw material used and this being a handmade product there will be some variation in grain, colour and finish. There could also be a slight variation in the dimensions provided.
