Another casualty of the TPD2 regulations imposed in 2017. It is now harder and more expensive for companies to import various blends and unfortunately sales of this tobacco simply didn’t justify the costs so unfortunately it is unlikely to appear on UK shelves ever again. As usual we have left the listing on our website for historical reference and interest.
The Mac Baren Seven Seas Red Cherry Blend Pipe Tobacco is causing quite a stir. The other 7 seas tobacco's, which were introduced to the UK in 2009 went down a storm (see what we did there) in the UK and the introduction of a Cherry version is definitely a talking point. The Seven Seas Blue White and Gold were rumoured to be replacements for the much mourned Captain Black tobacco range but as far as we can remember Captain Black never produced a Cherry so why the seven seas cherry??
Regardless of the background the 7 Seas Cherry is still a Mac Baren tobacco and is bound to be something special. It is produced from carefully selected Golden Virginias, light brown Burleys and just a touch of Cavendish, all expertly blended into a stunning tobacco before being enhanced with a top dressing of Ripe Cherries. Even just visually this tobacco looks the business!
Ready Rubbed Pipe Tobacco: The Mac Barens Seven Seas Red Cherry Pipe Tobacco is a ready rubbed tobacco blend. Ready rubbed tobacco is made up of loose strands and is ready for immediate use in the pipe with no preparation for added convenience and enjoyment.
