The Mac Baren Original Choice was released in 1993 as a new pioneering pipe tobacco which will appeal to novice smokers due to its milder body and virtually no tongue bite. Made from specially selected Virginia tobacco from the Boyette Farm in North Carolina blended with a mild, air dried Tennessee Burley. The Boyette Farm have been producing the best possible Virginias since 1797. A true rich Aromatic, The Original Choice is a very sweet smoke with some wonderful grassy citrus tartness from the Virginia, the Burley shines through with nutty, earthy, woody flavours. The fruity toppings bring it all together with a little cherry, berry and honey and a moderate amount of Vanilla caramel which makes for a rich and complex aromatic you will keep coming back for.
