Chacom Pipe of the year 2017 S1 Throughout 2016 Chacom have worked tirelessly to create 2017’s masterpiece and wow the work has paid off as the 2017 is our favourite Pipe Of The Year to date! A large egg shaped bowl combined with expert craftsmanship makes for a very comfortable and perfectly balanced pipe which looks simply stunning. Only the finest Plateaux Briar is carefully sourced and hand selected specifically for the Pipe Of The Year and it really shows in the stunning grain patterns throughout the range. The pipe is finished with a deluxe Cumberland mouthpiece and finished with a Bubinga wood band. The S1 is the cream of the crop as it is finished in a light matte natural stain which enhances every ounce of character in the intricate grain pattern of the Plateaux Briar. For this to be effective the Briar needs to be flawless with no fills or visible flaws which is extremely rare in Briar.
