La Gloria Cubana The La Gloria brand is steeped in history, Originally created in 1885 by the Sociedad Cabanas y Castro it was bought out 20 years later by Jose Rocha who manufactured the brand from his factory in Havana. Production ceased for several years after the revolution, until around 1965, when the brand was resurrected at the Partagas factory, where they are still made to this day. La Gloria cigars are produced in smaller quantities than other brands and they maintain their reputation and popularity with cigar aficionados.
La Gloria Cubana Britanicas Extra The factory name "Britanicas" is given to the unique shape of these vitolas, Such an unusual and rare shape is very difficult to create. The cigar rollers must have exceptional skill and experience to handcraft each cigar so that it does not only looks fantastic but is carefully crafted to provide a consistent draw from start to finish. These extremely rare cigars were inspired by the Bolivar Britanicas Regional Edition 2012 which became one of the most sought-after Regional Editions ever released. The bands that adorn these amazing vitolas are recreations of an example found in the Havana archives dating back to the late 1800s.
