Joya De Nicaragua Cigars: The original Nicaraguan cigar. Joya de Nicaragua was established in 1968, making it the very first premium handmade cigar manufacturer in Nicaragua. Nicaragua has suffered countless hard times over the last few decades, which has made offering their cigars on the worldwide market difficult but sheer passion, determination and outstanding Cigars have kept the company alive and today we are able to enjoy their cigars in the UK once again. In recent years their Cigars have won countless awards and it’s safe to say that Joya De Nicaragua are back on the map as one of the leading cigar manufacturers in the world. In 2016 the Black Swan Shoppe was honoured to be part of the first UK expedition to Nicaragua for over 30 years to see first hand what is happening on the Nicaraguan Cigar scene. To say we were blown away was an understatement. We were met by very passionate family owned companies and Joya in particular greeted us with tear filled passion and could not wait to show us their Cigars and the enchanting traditional processes they use to take seeds and turn them into some of the finest Cigars in the world. Every aspect of the process is done by hand by passionate people who take great pride in their work going to exceptional lengths to ensure the finished products are of the finest quality. We see it as an honour to be able to stock their Cigars, we hope you are as honoured to enjoy them.

Joya De Nicaragua Red Cigars: Joya red is the cigar that set the Cigar world alight (literally) when it was released in 2014 with a massive buzz surrounding the launch. And there wasn’t a disappointed palette on the planet, it is aimed at the more modern smoker that is a bit milder than most of their offerings so makes a great daytime smoke. A combination of premium tobaccos from Joyas beloved Nicaraguan fields results in a balanced blend with medium strength and captivating flavours. Smooth nutty notes and hints of pepper.

Loose boxed: Joya Cigars are packaged loose in a branded Box The cigars are kept in our humidors until dispatch and preferably should be stored in a humidor as soon as you receive them. If you are planning on smoking them within a couple of weeks the cigars should be okay as long as they are kept sealed in a cool dark place.

Preparation: Please note the Joya De Nicaragua are premium hand rolled cigars and therefore require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
