A branded Cedar box containing 25, loose H.Upmann Half Corona, Cuban Cigars!
H.Upmann: The Upmann brand was founded in 1844 by the Upmann brothers who were two wealthy bankers with a healthy appreciation for the smoking qualities of hand rolled cigars combined with the Cuban flavour. However they found the majority of Cubans around at the time were too strong to enjoy comfortably. The Upmann was therefore introduced to fill this void and are now a household name and one of the most popular cigars in our humidors.
H.Upmann Half Corona: A new vitola introduced in 2011 to respond to changing trends in Cigar smoking. The Half Corona is a smaller Cigar with a modest girth ideal for those in between moments or for the less experienced smoker as an introduction to the world of premium cigars. It is a mild Cigar of modest proportions which is creamy and boasts pleasant notes of Coffee without being overpowering so can be enjoyed by smokers of any experience.
Loose Cigars: When the H.Upmann Cigars leave the factory they are packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our humidors until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build up, which cannot be matched by a machine.
Preparation: Please note the H.Upmann cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
