Large Plateau 5886 This beautifully crafted pipe made from briar wood, known for its durability and heat resistance. The bowl of the pipe is wide and has a rough texture on its top half, resembling tree bark. This is achieved by gently sandblasting the surface of the the briar to bring out the natural burr of the end grain and takes many years to master. This is wonderfully contrasted by the smooth polished outer that showcases the beautiful grain of the briar. The black gloss stem curves gently away from the bowl providing an aesthetic balance to the natural appearance of the bowl. These stunning pipes match a quality usually found in pipes 10x their price and would be a welcome addition to any pipe collectors quiver.
