To celebrate the Year of the Rabbit, Cohiba have released an iconic addition to their portfolio. Named after the Spanish Golden Age, a period of literature extending from the early 16th century to the late 17th century that began with the partial political unification of Spain. The Siglo De Oro is the fourth release to commemorate the Chinese Lunar Calendar and introduces an entirely new vitola within the Cohiba Range, the "Exitosos" or "Successful" in English is a 4.5" x 54 cigar from carefully selected wrapper, filler and binder lea ves from the most prestigios zone, Vuelta Abajo in the Pinar del Rio region of Cuba. Each cigar is dressed with the standard Cohiba band and a limited edition foot band denoting the Year of the Rabbit logo, presented in a high gloss bevelled box wrapped in a luxurious velvet cover. Only 18,888 boxes have been produced with each box containing a scannable NFC chip secured to the inner lid that allows for instant authentication as well as more information regarding these iconic cigars.
