BBB (Britains Best Briars) London Made Pipes One of a handful of pipe manufacturers that can truly call themselves London Made. BBB pipes have been around for well over a century in the Oppenheimer factory with their flagship brand Comoys. We haven't seen any new releases from BBB for quite a while so it was a pleasant and much-welcomed surprise to see a new range on the stand this year. The BBB Sprint is a new range from BBB who have remained very traditional over the years but this year they have added some subtle contemporary styling.

BBB Neptune The BBB Sprint Red is a classic bent Dublin, with a saddle stem. The bowl is finished in a rich brown stain with a unique carved design. The pipe is filtered with the metal condensing style filter system.

Condensing Metal Filter The BBB Sprint Briar pipes incorporate the re-usable metal filter system. The metal filter is suspended in the middle of a moisture trap, which forces the smoke to spiral round the cool metal before entering the stem. This causes condensation, which naturally removes tar and moisture deposits from the smoke trapping them in the shank for a cool pleasant smoking experience. Simply wipe clean in between smokes. The metal filter can be removed altogether for smokers who prefer a totally un-restricted full-bodied smoke.
