Alec Bradley: First Established in Florida in 1996, Alec Bradley is the brainchild of Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer, who transferred his knowledge and passion of Cigars into his new venture with the help of Ralph Montero and Henke Kelner who was a cigar maker for Alfred Dunhill. Named after his 2 children, Alec Bradley has become a well known name in the cigar world and now produces between 2 and 3 million cigars each year.
Tempus Terra Novo Released in 2007 to rave reviews the Tempus or "Time" cigars gained a 94/100 rating from Cigar Aficionado Magazine. Its rich and dark Honduran wrapper, sourced from the Trojes region, gives it a distinguished, oily sheen that hints at the quality of the tobacco within. The blend features a well-balanced combination of Nicaraguan and Honduran long-fillers, carefully aged to perfection. This blend results in a medium to full-bodied smoke that exudes a complexity of flavours. The initial notes are a tantalizing mix of earthy richness, cedar, and hints of dark chocolate.
Loose Cigars: The Alec Bradley cigars leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our climate controlled humidor until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand-rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full-length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build-up, which cannot be matched by a machine.
Preparation: Please note the Alec Bradley cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
