A branded Cedar box containing 10, loose Alec Bradley Toro Cigars
Alec Bradley: First Established in Florida in 1996, Alec Bradley is the brainchild of Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer, who transferred his knowledge and passion of Cigars into his new venture with the help of Ralph Montero and Henke Kelner who was a cigar maker for Alfred Dunhill. Named after his 2 children, Alec Bradley has become a well known name in the cigar world and now produces between 2 and 3 million cigars each year.
2016 Fine and Rare Since 2011, the company has released a version of Fine and Rare each year, housed in attractive cedar boxes that contain 10 cigars, with each stick resting in its own slot and bearing a large band with the name of the rollers, supervisor and principles of the company on it. The 2016 Fine and Rare comes in one size, a 6 inch by 52 Ring gauge containing seven different types of filler hailing from the Trojes region of Honduras as well as Estelí and Jalapa in Nicaragua. The two binders were cultivated in Estelí and Trojes and are then wrapped in a corojo wrapper from Trojes.
Loose Cigars: The Alec Bradley Fine and Rare leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our humidors until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.
Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build up, which cannot be matched by a machine.
Preparation: Please note the Alec Bradley cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
