Alec Bradley: First Established in Florida in 1996, Alec Bradley is the brainchild of Alan Rubin, the son of a hardware importer, who transferred his knowledge and passion of Cigars into his new venture with the help of Ralph Montero and Henke Kelner who was a cigar maker for Alfred Dunhill. Named after his 2 children, Alec Bradley has become a well known name in the cigar world and now produces between 2 and 3 million cigars each year.

Black Market Toro Every month, for over a year, Alan Rubin had been working on blends with a special tobacco from Panama. He felt that the unique flavour of Panamanian tobacco, that he so thoroughly enjoyed had to be shared with the world. Creating 18 different Panamanian blends, he smoked the third one in line and knew this was a Black Market blend. The mystery of Panamanian tobacco and the crate like box in which Black Market is displayed illustrates this cigar’s journey.

Loose Cigars: The Alec Bradley Black Market Toro leave the factory packaged loose in a Cedar lined box. This helps the cigars to develop and flavours to diffuse. They are stored in our climate controlled humidor until dispatch and ideally should be transferred directly into a humidor. If you are buying them for a special occasion they should keep for up to a week in a cool, dark place.

Hand Rolled: The tradition of being rolled on a maiden's thigh can be questioned but the added quality a cigar beholds from being hand-rolled by an experienced Cigar Roller cannot. Each cigar is rolled to the same density with full-length filler (leaves), providing the perfect draw and ash build-up, which cannot be matched by a machine.

Preparation: Please note the Alec Bradley cigars require cutting or punching before they can be enjoyed.
