Savinelli St Nicholas Briar Pipes:
The Savinelli St Nicholas combines an evocative festive styling with a classic dressy feel. Savinellis 2021 St Nicholas offering presents some of their most iconic shapes in an extra glossy, extra dark brown rusticated finishing. The beautifully glittery, pearlescent stem alternates light and dark green colouring reminiscent of a Christmas tree. This is then decorated with two golden rings (not 5?!) that enclose a white acrylic band. This results in a beautiful Italian briar with a traditional aesthetic. The 311 is a curved poker with a saddle stem, the unique feature of this shape is it's ability to stand on its own without any support.
6mm Balsa wood filter
Unique to Savinelli is their Balsa wood filter system. The triangular shape does not form a seal in the bore of the pipe so allows an unrestricted full flavoured draw but the extremely porous and highly absorbent nature of the Balsa wood is very effective at removing moisture and impurities from the smoke. Savinelli include an adaptor for those who prefer a totally unfiltered smoke.
