Savinelli Raffaello Sandblast Dark Brown 6mm Briar Pipes
Savinelli Raffaello 500th Anniversary Briar Pipe:
This year is the 500th anniversary of Raffaello's death (6th April 1520), another Italian genius. Savinelli have produced 500 numbered pipes, brown sandblasted, with black acrylic stem in unique model: a bent rhodesian with black methacrylate mouthpiece, adorned with a silver reproduction of Raffaello's portrait on the shank. The pipes are numbered 1 to 500.
6mm Balsa wood filter
Unique to Savinelli is their Balsa wood filter system. The shape does not form a seal in the bore of the pipe so allows an unrestricted full flavoured draw but the extremely porous and highly absorbent nature of the Balsa wood is very effective at removing moisture and impurities from the smoke. The filter can be removed for those who prefer a totally unrestricted full on smoke.
