Savinelli Oscar Tiger Smooth Briar Pipes:
The Savinelli Oscar Tiger is another striking pipe from the Italian master craftsmen with unique styling. A quality briar pipe which has a rich high gloss polished bowl. The pipe is finished with a deep black stem with streams of transparent amber colours going through it before finishing with a brass ring. The marbled transparent stem is something new to the pipe world and we think it is absolutely stunning.
6mm Balsa wood filter
Unique to Savinelli is their Balsa wood filter system. The triangular shape does not form a seal in the bore of the pipe so allows an unrestricted full flavoured draw but the extremely porous and highly absorbent nature of the Balsa wood is very effective at removing moisture and impurities from the smoke. Savinelli includes an adaptor for those who prefer a totally unfiltered smoke.
MARBLED STEMS:
The marbled mouthpieces in these pictures are one-off's and are unlikely to be the exact mouthpiece you will receive. There is a variation from pipe to pipe with substantial differences in colours, patterns and marbling.
