The Dr Plumb's Quintex is part of Dr Plumb's premium pipe range and features the finest select briar and tapered fittings. The bowls have a fairly standard size with fairly thick walls which doesn't seem to add weight but prevents overheating. The stems are the same quality Lucite as in the rest of the Dr Plumb's range but uses a tapered military mount to provide a very secure, air tight fit. The larger bore of the stem allows a more efficient filter system. There is a bigger filter and moisture trap with more room for the smoke to move around and cool down before moving into the stem. This free movement gives an unrestricted draw, whilst the natural condensation still filters and cools down the smoke for an un-rivalled smoking experience.
