Jose L. Piedra is a distinguished brand of Cuban cigars with a history that dates back to the 1880's. The brand was established by Vincente and Jose Lamadrid Piedra, who emigrated from Spain to Cuba and began producing cigars in the Remedios region. This area is known for it's rich tobacco-growing tradition, which dates back to the 16th century. Jose L. Piedra cigars are unique in that they are made using the "Totalmente a Mano, Tripa Corta" technique, meaning they are completely hand made with short filler tobacco. The tobacco used in these cigars are grown exclusively in the Remedios region, giving them a distinctive flavour profile.
